A group under the aegis of Youth Movement for Good Governance, (YMGG), has called the Senator Ovie Omo-Agege and Chief Great Ogboru to be mindful on the use of the languages that would further destroy the existence of the All Progressives Congress in Delta state.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, it would be recalled recently held parallel congresses in the state producing two parallel executives from the wards to state level.
President of the group, Comr. Gabriel Udemude in a statement made available to newsmen said, “the call has become imperative following the spate of recent offensive media war between Chief Great Ogboru, Sen. Agege media employees and Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor.
According to Udemude, “There is need for Chief Ogboru and Sen. Agege to be extremely cautious with their conduct and utterances so as not to abort the good work Olorogun Otega Emerhor has done for the party in the state to see that the party deliver all her candidates in 2019 general elections.
“Their quest for power is a bid to destroy the party and the image of Olorogun O’Tega Emerhor but with their uttrances, they might end up destroying themselves with bunch of contradictions and scholastic articulation.
“Emerhor has been building APC with his hard earn money and within over night they want to high jack it from him. Chief Great Ogboru could not managed his political party and has not been able to win any election in the state, how can he restructure APC that he knows nothing about its foundation neither senator Agege who came to the party few months ago?
“It is quite unfortunate that senator Ovie Omo’Agege and Chief Ogboru will patronize the social media through their pay supporters to create deliberate disharmony between the party faithful in Delta state. O’tega has laboured and layed a good foundation for Delta state APC, and as such he should be given that recognition at all levels if the party must win the 2019 elections.
“I also want to correct the impression created by Ogboru and others that Olorogun O’tega is playing anti party and has been accused of collecting money from the Delta state government. Am compelled to respond to that accusations because of the inaccuracies it conveyed and the reading public.
“The allegations only succeeded in exposing the double standards of Chief Ogboru and senator Agege as well as exhibition of ignorance about what is currently trending in the political system of the Delta state APC”. Udemude stated
